Plumbing design is the process of designing a system of pipes, tanks, and fittings to provide water supply, heating, and sanitation in a building. A good plumbing design should be energy- and water-saving, use modern materials, and have short runs between plumbing components. It should also include two systems: one to provide water and one to remove waste.
